Microneedling Treatment

Activating Your Skin's Natural Repair Process for Lasting Resilience

As the skin ages or following trauma, such as acne breakouts, our natural production of collagen and elastin begins to slow. This can gradually lead to fine lines, structural laxity, enlarged pores, or persistent scarring. At US:KIN Clinic, we use professional microneedling to work directly with your body's innate healing mechanisms, encouraging the skin to naturally rebuild itself from the inside out.  Rather than relying on aggressive heat or superficial fixes, microneedling provides a controlled, mechanical stimulus that prompts your skin to produce fresh tissue, resulting in a smoother, firmer, and more evenly toned complexion.

What to Expect

FAQs

Is microneedling treatment painful?

Thanks to the application of a high-quality topical numbing cream before the session, the procedure is generally well-tolerated and well-received. You may feel a slight prickling or scratchy sensation in more sensitive areas, but it is not considered painful.

When will I see an improvement?

Because microneedling relies on your body naturally forming fresh, new tissue, it is not an immediate, overnight fix. While your skin regenerates relatively quickly and you may notice a brighter complexion within a couple of weeks, the true structural benefits—such as the softening of acne scars and fine lines—develop gradually over several months as new collagen matures.

How long do the results last?

Because the skin is a living, constantly changing tissue, individual longevity varies based on lifestyle and genetics. A single course of treatments can provide improvements that last for several months. However, because the natural ageing process is continuous, we recommend a simple maintenance session every 4 to 6 months to protect and sustain your skin's progress.

Is there any downtime?

There is virtually no true downtime with this minimally invasive treatment, making it safe and manageable for those with busy routines. Mild redness and slight irritation are common for the first 24 to 48 hours. You can return to your daily activities immediately, though we advise wearing a high-factor, broad-spectrum sunscreen daily, as your skin will be temporarily more sensitive to the sun.
